Dynamic economic growth was uninterrupted in Saxony-Anhalt even during the economic crisis of 2009. This is supported by the provisional annual accounts from the Ministry for Economic Affairs for its promotion of economic development.Around 330 projects with investment volumes of more than 1.2 billion Euros have been approved, which were subsidised with around 320 million Euros from the " Joint Task for Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure".11,000 permanent jobs are being secured in this way, and 3,100 will be created.
